The Algorithm Said No!
In the beginning, the ‘algorithm’ on any social platforms that you join will not like you at all!
Why, because the ‘algorithm’ doesn’t know you –
It’s a bit like walking into a bank and saying hey, my names Jim, can I have million dollars please, and the bank says, yes sure, I’ll just get that for you!
You have to build up your content with the platform first, by giving the algorithm all the information it needs, so it can show you to the right people and put your content in the right places.
It all starts with getting your profile set up in the right way and then posting the right content.
You need to be consistent, now that can be different for different people, consistent for you could be once a week, once a month, or daily! BUT, the main thing at the start is that you just start getting your content out there, be active with any comments, followers and start building up trust with the platform.
Once you start to grow, you can then work on better content, being more consistent, and all that good stuff.
So a quick recap – at the start you will not ‘be liked’ by any ‘algorithm’ but if you keep believing in yourself and stay true to your content and engagement, you will start to see some growth.
