Today, let’s delve into the importance of ‘me time.’ While building an online business and securing a monthly income are fantastic pursuits, it’s crucial not to let work consume every aspect of your life.
Finding a balance is key because, let’s face it, burnout is nobody’s friend. Ignoring self-care can lead to various undesirable outcomes. So, in addition to navigating the world of online entrepreneurship, dedicating time to yourself becomes paramount.
In my journey through this year’s book, I’ve decided to embark on a personal improvement adventure, placing a particular focus on health and overall fitness. Incorporating daily walks into my routine, stepping away from the screen for a refreshing hour, and integrating weightlifting sessions have become my priorities. Building and preserving muscle mass is a key consideration, especially as we age. Numerous studies highlight the benefits of weightlifting for overall health, particularly in individuals in their 60s and 70s.
The approach I’m adopting is one of gradual progression – starting small and steadily working my way up. Beginning with a daily walk and lifting lighter weights, I plan to gradually increase the intensity, incorporating light jogs and progressively heavier weights as my fitness improves.
For me, the synergy between building an online business/income stream and personal development is undeniable. Striking a balance tailored to your needs is essential. Throughout the 2024 Yearbook, I’ll be focusing on self-improvement, sharing my journey, and showcasing progress toward my health goals.
